Time Trials (All Swimmers)
Time Trials is the first meet of the season. This fun meet is held at our home pool and is only for our Sharks. Each swimmer will compete in all strokes (free, back, breast & butterfly) that they can complete legally. Some younger swimmers do not have a legal swim in all four strokes yet, and the coaches will identify which strokes they should try. Time Trials establishes a swimmer’s baseline seed time in each stroke.
Saturday, June 13, 8:00 am
Swimmers arrive at 7:15 am with warm-ups starting at 7:20 am.
We will begin promptly at 8:00 am.

Swim-a-Thon
Swim-A-Thon is hosted by Swim Team, but open to all pool members to participate!
The Orange Hunt swim team will host an annual Swim-A-Thon. Swimmers will swim lengths of the pool with the goal of completing 66 lengths (1 mile) or as far as they are able to swim.
100% of donations to this event will go to Viridiane’s Hope for Children’s Health and Education (VHCHE). This charity was founded by long-time pool member, deck official extraordinaire, and Shark parent Joe Tiago.
Sponsors can donate either a flat donation or a per lap donation. The number of “donatable laps” will be capped at 66 to ensure sponsors have a better idea of what they are committing to when the commit to support a swimmer.
